The present invention discloses a dish washer system and a control method thereof. The present invention includes: a tank containing washing water and rinsing water; a pressure sensor installed in the tank to detect a level of water in the tank; and a control part configured to determine the level of water detected by the pressure sensor. The control part includes: a pressure input part configured to receive the input of pressure due to the level of water from the pressure sensor; and a water level and volume determination part configured to, if the measured water level set by the pressure sensor is within a determination range of the water level, count a predetermined determination time, and if the water level is measured within a determination range of the water level during the determination time, determine the level of water.
