Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a visible light responsive photocatalytic coating composition and a method for preparing the same. According to the present invention, the visible light responsive photocatalytic coating composition can solve the problem of a difficulty in activating a photocatalyst in an indoor place where the solar light cannot reach, is chemically stable and can be activated with the visible light and under a fluorescent lamp. Thus, the visible light responsive photocatalytic coating composition is effective for decomposing or removing volatile organic compounds or harmful organic substances causing a sick house syndrome and harmful microorganisms, such as molds and virus, in the indoor environment as well as the outdoor environment. Therefore, the visible light responsive photocatalytic coating composition is useful for a wall covering material, tiles, glass, furniture, mirror, an environmental filtering system, a stone material for use in pumice of a water circulation type artificial fall or fountain, hygienic ceramic such as a toilet or basin, an anti-infection material against bacteria such as MRSA for use in hospitals, a house equipment system, an anti-mold substrate, an antiviral substrate, or the like.
