Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a method for preventing an APD damage caused by change in a breakdown voltage at a low temperature, comprising: comparing a current temperature with a first low temperature threshold; comparing a second low temperature threshold value with a second low temperature threshold value when the current temperature is low; adding a first correcting value to a V_APD when the current temperature is high; and adding a second correcting value to the V_APD when the current temperature is low. Accordingly, the present invention can maintain optimum reception sensitivity in a condition where the temperature of the module changes, and prevents the APD damage caused by change in the breakdown voltage under low temperature conditions, thereby protecting the APD. 본 발명은 저온에서 항복 전압의 변화에 따른 APD 손상을 방지하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 현재온도와 제1 저온 임계값을 비교하여, 현재온도가 낮은 경우에 제2 저온 임계값과 다시 비교하여, 현재온도가 높은 경우에 vapd에 제1 보상값을 더하고, 낮은 경우에는 제2 보상값을 더하는 단계를 수행한다. 따라서 모듈의 온도가 변화하는 조건에서 최적의 수신감도를 유지할 수 있으며, 저온 조건에서 항복 전압의 변화로 인한 APD의 손상을 방지하여 APD를 보호할 수 있다.
