Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a touch input device capable of deleting and modifying a character and a control method of the input device. According to one aspect, the input device comprises: a display unit which displays the inputting character; a touch unit which is formed in a concave shape and on which a command for deleting the inputting character is inputted in a touch method; and a control unit which determines the deletion unit of the inputting character in accordance with the number of simultaneous touches of touch gesture inputted on the touch unit. 문자 삭제 및 수정이 가능한 터치 입력장치 및 그 제어 방법에 관한 발명이다. 일 측면에 따른 입력장치는 입력 중인 문자를 표시하는 표시부와, 오목한 형상으로 마련되고 입력중인 문자를 삭제하는 명령이 터치 방식으로 입력되는 터치부와, 터치부에 입력되는 터치 제스처의 동시 터치 개수에 따라 입력 중인 문자의 삭제 단위를 결정하는 제어부를 포함한다.
