Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a cylindrical secondary battery capable of preventing an electrode assembly and a can member from coming in contact with each other caused by external impact. Moreover, the cylindrical secondary battery comprises: a jelly roll-type electrode assembly wound while a positive electrode, a separation membrane, and a negative electrode are stacked; a can member accommodating the electrode assembly therein; and an insulation member combined to cover the electrode assembly inside, and electrically insulating a gap between the electrode assembly and the can member. 본 발명은 외부 충격에 의해 전극조립체와 캔부재가 서로 접촉하는 것을 방지할 수 있는 원통형 이차전지에 관한 것이다. 또한, 본 발명은 양극, 분리막, 음극이 적층된 상태로 권취되는 젤리 롤 형 전극조립체, 상기 전극조립체를 내부에 수용하는 캔부재 및 상기 전극조립체의 단부를 감싸도록 결합되며, 상기 전극조립체와 상기 캔부재와의 사이를 전기적으로 절연시키는 절연부재를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
