Zusammenfassung:The present invention provides a braking system for a vehicle, capable of improving a mileage, and a vehicle braking method. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the braking system comprises: a battery; a motor to supply electricity to the battery; a pedal stroke sensor to measure a stroke of a brake pedal; a braking actuator to stop a vehicle according to an inputted frictional braking signal; a first control unit using the motor and the battery to perform regenerative braking of the vehicle according to an inputted regenerative braking allowance; and a second control unit using stroke information to calculate a total required braking amount and the regenerative braking allowance, and using the total required braking amount, and a regenerative braking execution amount executed by the motor and the battery to generate the frictional braking signal. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 관련된 차량 제동 시스템은 배터리, 배터리로 전력을 공급하는 모터, 브레이크 페달의 스트로크를 측정하는 페달 스트로크 센서, 입력되는 마찰 제동 신호에 따라 차량을 제동하는 제동 액츄에이터, 입력되는 회생 제동 허용량에 따라 모터 및 배터리를 이용하여 차량의 회생 제동을 수행하는 제1 제어부 및 스트로크 정보를 이용하여 총 요구 제동량 및 회생 제동 허용량을 연산하고, 총 요구 제동량 및 모터 및 배터리에 의해 수행된 회생 제동 실행량을 이용하여 마찰 제동 신호를 생성하는 제2 제어부를 포함한다.
