Zusammenfassung: | Disclosed is a planet gear train of an automatic transmission for a vehicle, which can improve power transmission performance and can obtain a fuel efficiency improving effect. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the planet gear train of the automatic transmission for a vehicle includes: an input shaft receiving power of an engine; an output shaft outputting power in which a speed is changed; a first planet gear set having a first sun gear, a first planet carrier, and a first ring gear; a second planet gear set having a second sun gear, a second planet carrier, and a second ring gear; a third planet gear set having a third sun gear, a third planet carrier, and a third ring gear; a fourth planet gear set having a fourth sun gear, a fourth planet carrier, and a fourth ring gear; a first rotary shaft including the first and second sun gears and selectively connected to a transmission housing; a second rotary shaft including the first planet carrier; a third rotary shaft including the first ring gear and the fourth ring gear and selectively connected to the transmission housing; a fourth rotary shaft including the second planet carrier and directly connected to the input shaft; a fifth rotary shaft comprising the second ring gear and the third and fourth sun gears; a sixth rotary shaft comprising the third planet carrier and selectively connected to the second and fourth rotary shafts; a seventh rotary shaft comprising the third ring gear and selectively connected to the second rotary shaft; an eighth rotary shaft comprising the fourth planet carrier and directly connected to the output shaft, wherein the eighth rotary shaft is selectively connected to the seventh rotary shaft; and six friction elements formed between the rotary shafts and at a part of selectively connecting the rotary shaft and the transmission housing.
