Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a steel damper for vibration control, which is installed in a building to reduce damage to the building by effectively absorbing and dissipating energy flowing into the building by earthquake occurrence, and comprises a damping unit (110) and a mounting unit (120). The damping unit (110) comprises: a pair of support plates (111) spaced to be opposite to each other, and composed of a steel plate; and at least one damper element (112) of which both end portions are individually and fixedly attached between the support plates (111). Moreover, the damper element (112) is made of a plate-shaped steel plate having a curved cross section. 본 발명은 지진발생으로 인해 건물에 유입되는 에너지를 흡수하여 효율적으로 소산시킴으로써 건물의 피해를 줄일 수 있도록 건물에 설치되는 제진용 강재댐퍼에 관한 것으로서, 댐핑부(110)와 정착부(120)로 이루어지고; 상기 댐핑부(110)는, 서로 이격되어 대향하며 강판으로 이루어지는 한 쌍의 지지판(111)과, 상기 한 쌍의 지지판(111) 사이에 양 단부가 각각 일체로 부착 고정되어 있는 하나 이상의 댐퍼요소(112)로 이루어지되; 상기 댐퍼요소(112)는 곡선의 단면을 가지는 플레이트 형상의 강판으로 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다.
