Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to carburizing alloy steel with improved durability and a manufacturing method thereof and, more specifically, relates to carburizing alloy steel with improved durability and a manufacturing method thereof wherein the carburizing alloy steel comprises: iron (Fe) as a main constituent; 0.1-0.35 wt% of carbon (C); 0.1-2.0 wt% of silicon (Si); 0.1-1.5 wt% of manganese (Mn); 1.5-3.0 wt% of chromium (Cr); 0.2-0.5 wt% of molybdenum (Mo); and niobium (Nb) greater than 0 wt% and equal to or less than 0.07 wt%, thereby enhancing durability such as hardness, strength, toughness, fatigue strength and fatigue life thereof, ensuring a degree of freedom in designing automobiles and saving manufacturing costs by making high strengthening possible, making thinning possible, and reducing the weight by 20% or so. 본 발명은 내구성을 향상시킨 침탄 합금강 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 전체 합금강 중량에 대하여, 전체 합금강 중량에 대하여, 철(Fe)을 주 성분으로 하여 탄소(C) 0.1 ~ 0.35 중량%, 실리콘(Si) 0.1 ~ 2.0 중량%, 망가니즈(Mn) 0.1 ~ 1.5 중량%, 크로뮴(Cr) 1.5 ~ 3.0 중량%, 몰리브데넘(Mo) 0.2 ~ 0.5 중량%, 니오븀(Nb) 0 중량% 초과 0.07 중량% 이하를 포함함으로써, 침탄 합금강의 경도, 강도, 인성, 피로강도 및 피로수명 등 내구성을 향상시키는 효과가 있으며, 상기 침탄 합금강의 고강도화를 가능하게 하여, 박육화 및 약 20 %의 경량화 등을 통해, 자동차 설계의 자유도를 확보하고, 제조원가를 절감할 수 있는 효과가 있는 침탄 합금강 및 이의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
