Zusammenfassung:A multi-section light source according to an embodiment of the present invention may include a first region which controls the gain of an optical signal by performing the amplitude modulation of an inputted optical signal, and a second region which controls the wavelength of the optical signal transmitted from the first region in response to an applied current. So, power consumption and cost for driving a light source can be reduced. 본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 다중 섹션 광원은 입력되는 광신호의 세기 변조(amplitude modulation)를 수행하여, 상기 광신호의 이득을 제어하는 제1영역, 및 인가되는 전류에 대응하여 상기 제1영역에서 전달되는 광신호의 파장을 제어하는 제2영역을 포함할 수 있다.
