| Zusammenfassung: | The present invention is to provide a display device which can easily add a broadcasting program or a broadcasting program channel to a bookmark while a user watches a TV; and an operating method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for operating the display device comprises the following steps: playing a broadcasting program; outputting a plurality of icons including a bookmark icon while playing the broadcasting program; receiving a request for selecting the outputted bookmark icon; and outputting at least one from a bookmark channel list and a bookmark program list according to the request for selecting the bookmark icon.
