Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a method for breaking down amyloid protein fibers in an axial direction using ultrasound, and to a method for regrowing the decomposed amyloid protein fibers. According to the present invention, the method can help investigate amyloidosis caused by amyloid fibers piled up in organs such as heart and kidney, wherein the amyloid fibers are made of abnormally folded amyloid monomers undergoing fibrosis. Particularly, the method can contribute to a study involved in ultrasound therapy for amyloid-associated disease and characteristics of amyloid fibers associated with disease.
