Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting cancer metastasis, which comprises an agent for inhibiting expression or activity of testis-specific protein, Y-encoded-like 5 (TSPYL5) as an active ingredient. After A549 cells that are non-small cell lung cancer cells are radiated with divided radiation, it is shown that expression of TSPYL5 and cancer stem cell markers, ALDH1 and CD44, is increased significantly, and that inhibition of expression or activity of TSPYL5 inhibits expression of cancer stem cell markers, ALDH1 and CD44, to reduce the EMT function which is an important pathway of cancer stem cell growth and metastasis. It is also shown that growth of malignant cells is inhibited. Therefore, a TSPYL5 expression or activity inhibitor may be useful as an active ingredient for a composition for inhibiting cancer stem cell growth and cancer metastasis in various types of tumors. 본 발명은 TSPYL5(testis-specific protein, Y-encoded-like 5)의 발현 또는 활성 억제제를 유효성분으로 함유하는 암 전이 억제용 약학적 조성물에 관한 것으로, 비소세포성 페암 세포인 A549 세포에 분할 방사선을 조사한 결과, TSPYL5(testis-specific protein, Y-encoded-like 5), 및 암줄기세포 마커인 ALDH1 및 CD44의 발현량이 현저히 증가하고, TSPYL5의 발현 또는 활성 억제는 암줄기세포 마커인 ALDH1 및 CD44의 발현량을 억제함으로써 암줄기세포 성장 및 전이의 중요 경로인 EMT 기능을 현저히 감소시키는 것을 확인하고, 악성 형질의 세포의 성장이 억제되는 것을 확인함으로써, TSPYL5 발현 또는 활성 억제제는 다양한 종양에서 암줄기세포 성장 및 암 전이 억제용 조성물의 유효성분으로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
