MOBILE TERMINAL AND CONTROL METHOD FOR THE SAME

The present specification discloses a mobile terminal and a control method for the same. According to embodiments of the present specification, the mobile terminal comprises: a display unit configured to output a first region in which a message is displayed and a second region which displays the information about the other party corresponding to the message; and a control unit configured to output a controller user interface (UI) to the display unit, wherein the controller is configured to associate the message to be displayed in the first region with the information about the other part displayed in the second region and process the same when a touch input predetermined in the second region is received. Herein, the controller UI comprises: a menu region configured to display scrap information associated with the information about the other party displayed in the second region among the messages displayed in the first region; and an input region configured to display a message corresponding to the scrap information selected in the menu region.
