The present invention relates to a secondary battery which can be replaced with a cathode tap by adding foil to cathode foil. Also, the secondary battery includes a jelly-roll-type electrode assembly which successively winds an anode plate, a separator, and a cathode plate, a can member which has an open upper part to accommodate the electrode assembly, a can assembly which seals the open upper part of the can member, a cathode foil part which is prepared in the cathode plate of the electrode assembly, and an auxiliary foil part which is attached to the cathode foil part and electrically connects the cathode plate and the can member. 본 발명은 음극 포일(foil)에 포일을 덧붙여 음극 탭을 대신하게 하는 2차 전지에 관한 것이다. 또한, 본 발명은 양극판, 세퍼레이터, 음극판이 순차적으로 와인딩되는 젤리롤형 전극 집합체, 상기 전극 집합체를 내부에 수용하도록 상부가 개구되는 캔부재, 상기 캔부재의 개구된 상부를 밀봉하는 캔조립체, 상기 전극 집합체의 음극판에 마련되는 음극 포일부 및 상기 음극 포일부에 부착되어 상기 음극판과 상기 캔부재를 전기적으로 연결하는 보조 포일부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
