COMPOSITION FOR SURFACE VOLTAGE REDUCTION IN DISTILLATE FUEL

The present invention relates to an additive composition mixture and a method for synergistically maintaining low surface voltage of distillate fuel which includes a synergistic conductivity improver additive composition for distillate fuel. The additive composition includes: (A) a mixture of (i) an alkenyl polysulfone polymer, (ii) a C16-C24 substituted maleic/polyamine copolymer, (iii) sulfonic acid, and (iv) an aromatic solvent; and (B) a mixture of (i) an alkenyl polysulfone polymer, (v) a polymeric reaction product of a C8-C18 aliphatic amine or diamine and epichlorohydrin; (iii) sulfonic acid, and (iv) an aromatic solvent; and optionally (vi) a quaternary ammonium compound.
