Zusammenfassung:	A technical subject of the present invention is to provide a liquid crystal display device which improves a color mixing defect in a lateral viewing angle direction and improves pattern uniformity of a black matrix and surface uniformity of an over-coating layer. According to the present invention for achieving the mentioned technical subject, the liquid crystal display device comprises: a color filter which is installed in a pixel region on a substrate and which includes at least two color filter patterns; an over-coating layer installed on the color filter; and a black matrix installed on the over-coating layer and arranged to correspond to a boundary between the color filter patterns. 본 발명은 측면 시야각 방향에서 색혼합 불량을 개선함과 더불어 블랙 매트릭스의 패턴 균일도와 오버코팅층의 표면 균일도를 향상시킬 수 있는 액정 표시 장치를 제공하는 것을 기술적 과제로 한다. 상술한 기술적 과제를 달성하기 위한 본 발명에 따른 액정 표시 장치는 기판 상의 화소 영역에 구비되며 적어도 둘 이상의 컬러 필터 패턴들을 포함하는 컬러필터, 상기 컬러필터 상에 구비되는 오버코팅층, 및 상기 오버코팅층 상에 구비되며 상기 컬러필터 패턴들의 경계에 대응되도록 배치되는 블랙 매트릭스를 포함한다.
