Zusammenfassung:	The present invention provides a system and method for safety management for a vehicle. The system for safety management for a vehicle comprises a power supply part, a door sensor, a switch, a photographing device, an image processing part and an alarm part. The door sensor detects whether a door is opened or closed. The switch performs switching for power supply while corresponding to an opening/closing signal generated by the door sensor. The photographing device is driven depending on the power supply to generate image data. The image processing part identifies an object through an image process with respect to image data and generates an alarm sound generation signal in accordance with determination of the degree of safety. The alarm part outputs the alarm sound while corresponding to the alarm sound generation signal. According to the present invention, the photographing device is driven before and after a time when the vehicle is driven (the door is opened and closed), thereby preventing unnecessary image processing and a waste of power. The driver is alerted only when a person or an object is recognized through image analysis, thereby providing convenience to perform monitoring only when there is a driver′s need. 본 발명은 차량 안전 관리 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것으로서, 전원 공급부와, 출입문 개폐 여부를 감지하는 출입문 센서와, 출입문 센서로부터 생성된 개폐신호에 대응하여 전원공급을 위한 스위칭을 수행하는 스위치와, 전원공급에 따라 구동되어 영상데이터를 생성하는 촬영장치와, 영상데이터에 대한 영상 처리를 통해 객체를 식별하여 안전도 판단에 따라 경보음 발생신호를 생성하는 영상 처리부와, 경보음 발생신호에 대응하여 경보음을 출력하는 경보부를 포함한다. 본 발명에 따르면, 차량 운행이 이루어지는 시점(출입문 개폐) 전후에서 촬영장치를 구동함으로써 불필요한 영상 처리 및 전력 낭비를 방지할 수 있으며, 영상분석을 통해 사람 또는 물체를 인식할 경우에만 경보함으로써 운전자가 필요시에만 모니터링하는 편리함을 제공할 수 있다.
