A TWIST APPLICATION DEVICE WITH AN ADJUSTABLE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE CONDUCTOR ENDS

The present invention relates to a twisting device including a supplier (1) supplying conductor ends (2a to 2c) of at least two conductors (3a to 3c); and a twisting head (4) installed to be rotated to twist the conductors (3a to 3c). In this twisting device, a controller (7) connected to a drive (8) for first clamping jaws (5a to 5f) controls the first clamping jaws to set intervals (a) between the clamped conductor ends (2a to 2c) as adjusted values before the conductor ends (2a to 2c) are moved to the twisting head (4). The present invention relates to a method for twisting at least two conductors (3a to 3c), wherein the intervals (a) are set as adjusted values before the conductor ends (2a to 2c) are clamped with second clamp jaws (6a to 6b) of the twisting head (4).
