COMPOSITION FOR REDUCING METHANE IN RUMINANTS AND FEED COMPRISING THE SAME

The present invention relates to a composition for reducing methane in a ruminant by including an extract of a lactic acid bacteria fermented medical plant to reduce generation of methane, and a feed composition including the same. According to the present invention, productivity of the ruminant may be improved through an effect of reducing the methane in a rumen by using the extract of the lactic acid bacteria fermented medical plant, and also, in terms of environmental aspect, an environmental pollution source may be prevented from being discharged. The composition for reducing the methane in the ruminant includes one or more lactic acid bacteria fermented extracts of any one selected from a group comprising Allium hookeri, mulberry leaves, and bellflower. 본 발명은 유산균 발효 약용식물의 추출물을 포함함으로써, 메탄의 생성량을 저감시킬 수 있는 반추동물의 메탄 저감용 조성물 및 이를 포함하는 사료 조성물에 관한 것으로서, 본 발명에 의한 유산균 발효 약용식물의 추출물의 반추위 메탄 저감 효과를 통하여, 반추위 동물의 생산성을 향상시킬 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 환경적인 측면에서 환경 오염원의 배출을 방지할 수 있다.
