Zusammenfassung:	According to the present invention, an apparatus for detecting a fault is a card-type apparatus being installed in a computer PCI slot. When power is applied to a computer, a CPU sequentially processes content of a mainboard ROM BIOS. If a specific hardware is faulty, the sequential process is ceased. In this case, the apparatus of the present invention notifies a user of faulty hardware by recognizing a ceased address of the ROM BIOS. Especially, the user conveniently recognizes the faulty hardware and a type of the fault, when a monitor-related fault occurs as a managing server notifies of a fault determination result on in-home TV. 본 발명에 따른 장애 감지 장치는 카드형태로 컴퓨터 PCI slot에 장착되며, 컴퓨터 전원 인가시 CPU는 메인보드 롬바이오스 내용을 순차적으로 처리하는데 특정 하드웨어 장애시 순차적 진행을 중단한다. 본 발명의 장치는 이러한 경우 롬바이오스의 중단 번지를 인식하여 장애 하드웨어를 사용자에게 알려준다. 특히, 관리 서버에 의하여 댁내 TV를 통해 장애 판단 결과를 알려줌으로써 컴퓨터 모니터 관련 장애가 발생한 경우에도 사용자가 용이하게 장애 하드웨어 및 유형을 파악할 수 있다.
