Various embodiments of the present invention provide a method for unlocking an electronic device and an electronic device supporting the same, which comprises: a sensor module for detecting a slope of an electronic device; a display displaying a three-dimensional unlocking object having multiple surfaces composed of multiple elements; an input interface receiving unlocking information on at least one element selected from the multiple elements; and a processor unlocking an electronic device based on the slope detected when the unlocking information is received and the unlocking information. Accordingly, security for unlocking an electronic device can be strengthened.
