THE APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PORTABLE DEVICE

The present invention relates to a portable device and a control method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the portable device comprises: a first body positioned in a center; a second body positioned in a left side of the first body; and a third body positioned in a right side of the first body. The control method of the portable device comprises the following steps: detecting that the second body or the third body is folded to the first body by using a sensor unit; and capturing an image by using at least one of a first camera unit positioned in the second body and a second camera unit positioned in the third body. The first camera unit can capture an image in a first direction, and the second camera unit can capture an image in a second direction. If the portable device is in an unfolded state, an image is captured based on a first photographing mode, and if the portable device is in a first folded state, an image is captured based on a second photographing mode.
