In addition, the present invention relates to a manufacturing method of dimethyl 3,3′-thiopropionate comprises a step of reacting methyl 3-mercaptopropionate with a mixture containing an organic solvent and methyl acrylate, in the presence of a catalyst containing a quaternary ammonium salt compound, wherein the organic solvent has heat of dissolution below 9.2 kcal/mol (room temperature, 1 atm) with respect to the methyl acrylate. 본 발명은, 4차 암모늄염 화합물을 포함한 촉매 존재 하에, 유기 용매 및 메틸아크릴레이트를 포함한 혼합물과 황화수소를 반응시키는 단계를 포함하고, 상기 유기 용매는 상기 메틸아크릴레이트에 대하여 9.2 kcal/mol(상온, 1기압)이하의 용해열을 갖는 메틸 3-머캅토프로피오네이트의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 또한, 본 발명은, 4차 암모늄염 화합물을 포함한 촉매 존재 하에, 유기 용매 및 메틸아크릴레이트를 포함한 혼합물과 메틸 3-머캅토프로피오네이트를 반응시키는 단계를 포함하고, 상기 유기 용매는 상기 메틸아크릴레이트에 대하여 9.2 kcal/mol(상온, 1기압)이하의 용해열을 갖는 다이메틸 3,3'-사이오프로피오네이트의 제조방법에 관한 것이다.
