Zusammenfassung:A source driver for driving a display panel and a display device including the same are disclosed. The source driver, according to an embodiment of the present invention, which drives a source line of a display panel, includes: a digital circuit configured to receive and store digital pixel data; and an analogue circuit configured to convert and output the digital pixel data into a grey voltage of an analog signal form, wherein a static current of the analogue circuit is reduced in response to a timing signal indicating non-driving period of the display panel. 디스플레이 패널을 구동하는 소스 드라이버 및 이를 포함하는 디스플레이 장치가 개시된다. 본 발명의 실시 예에 따른 디스플레이 패널의 소스 라인을 구동하는 소스 드라이버는, 디지털 픽셀 데이터를 수신하고, 저장하는 디지털 회로; 및 상기 디지털 픽셀 데이터를 아날로그 신호 형태의 계조 전압으로 변환하여 출력하는 아날로그 회로를 포함하고, 상기 디스플레이 패널의 비구동 구간을 지시하는 타이밍 신호에 응답하여, 상기 아날로그 회로의 정적 전류(static current)가 감소된다.
