THESAURUS DATABASE BUILDING SYSTEM

The present invention relates to a thesaurus database building system for searching a similar technology, and especially, to a thesaurus database building system for matching expressions of different languages about the same target in a patent document and expanding a range of thesaurus by using the matched languages as a medium, thereby, expanding a range of inquiry word for searching a similar technology. The thesaurus database building system comprises: a patent information database in which texts are recorded wherein the texted are described in at least two languages; an index word extracting module (20) for extracting an index word from the patent information database; a thesaurus database (42) in which similar words having related meanings correspond to each other; a candidate thesaurus database (40); and a thesaurus building module (30). 본 발명은 유사 기술 탐색을 위한 유사어 데이터베이스 구축 시스템에 관한 것으로서, 특히 특허문헌에서 동일한 대상에 대한 이종 언어 간 표현을 상호 대응시키고, 대응된 이종 언어를 매개로 하여 유사어를 확장시킴으로써, 유사 기술을 검색하기 위한 질의어를 확장시킬 수 있는 유사어 데이터베이스 구축 시스템에 관한 것이다.
