ELECTRIC VACUUM CLEANER

The present invention provides an electric vacuum cleaner which can reliably cool an electric blower in case of rapidly decreasing or closing an air flow path by means of a leak valve stably operated by restricting deviation or chattering with respect to negative pressure applied from the electric blower. The electric vacuum cleaner (1) comprises: a valve box (36) having an air introduction port (35) introducing the air to an inlet of an electric blower (8); a valve sheet (37) installed in an edge portion of a circumference of the air introduction port (35) of the valve box (36); a valve body (38) arranged inside the valve box (36); a coil spring (39) suppressing the valve body (38) using the valve sheet (37); and a complete closure blocking unit (41) installed in at least one side of surfaces opposite to the valve body (38) or the valve sheet (37), and blocking complete closure of the air introduction port (35) to guide air to the inside of the valve box (36). 전동송풍기측으로부터 작용하는 부압에 대하여 편차나 채터링을 억제하여 안정적으로 동작하는 리크밸브에 의해, 풍로 단면적 격감 또는 풍로 폐색시에 전동송풍기를 확실하게 냉각할 수 있는 전기청소기를 제안한다. 전기청소기(1)는 전동송풍기(8)의 흡입측으로 대기를 도입하는 대기도입구(35)를 갖는 밸브상자(36), 밸브상자(36)의 대기도입구(35)의 둘레가장자리부에 설치되는 밸브시트(37), 밸브상자(36)내에 배치되는 밸브체(38), 밸브체(38)를 밸브시트(37)로 억누르는 코일 스프링(39), 및 밸브체(38) 또는 밸브시트(37)의 대향하는 면 중 적어도 한쪽 면에 설치되고, 대기도입구(35)의 완전 폐색을 저지하여 공기를 밸브상자(36)내로 인도하는 완전폐쇄 저지부(41)를 구비하고 있다.
