FLOODGATE

The present invention relates to a floodgate. The floodgate is installed by crossing a stream and controls a water level of the stream. The present invention has a sealing unit joined to the outside of at least one abdominal plate among two termination beams disposed in a height direction of the floodgate on a left side and the right side based on the arrangement direction of the floodgate. A gap between both ends perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the sealing unit is formed to have an arc shape bent in a convex manner toward the outside of the abdominal plate of the termination beams in the longitudinal direction of the sealing unit in order to have a rounding unit elastically deformed when the rounding unit comes in contact with the opposite side floodgate or another structure to seal a space between the opposite side floodgate or the structure and the floodgate. Therefore, according to the present invention, the sealing unit composed of a metal thin film made of an elastic material is joined to the abdominal plate of the floodgate in order to improve sealing performance of the floodgate since the sealing unit is elastically deformed by hydraulic pressure to be closed attached and compressed when the hydraulic pressure is applied to the sealing unit.
