| Zusammenfassung: | Provided are a method and a device for effectively managing one or more segments, respectively connected to one or more TEPs, which does not require a separate unicast channel and can reduce a load of an L3 network, as a ping packet is transmitted to member TEPs by a selected representative TEP among the TEPs through a multicast, and a response ping packet is received from the member TEPs by the representative TEP through the multicast.
하나 이상의 TEP들 중 선택된 대표 TEP에 의해 멤버 TEP들로 핑 패킷이 멀티캐스트를 통해 전송되고 멤버 TEP들로부터 대표 TEP로 응답 핑 패킷이 멀티캐스트를 통해 수신됨으로써 별도의 유니캐스트 터널을 필요로 하지 않고 L3 네트워크의 부담을 줄일 수 있으면서, 하나 이상의 TEP들의 각각과 연결된 적어도 하나의 세그먼트가 효율적으로 관리될 수 있는 방법 및 장치가 제공된다. |
