METHOD AND APPARATUS OF PROVIDING MOBILE COMMUNICATION SERVICE ON THE SEA

Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for relaying signals of a base station to provide a mobile communication service in the sea. The signal relay method according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a system information acquisition step of receiving system information from a base station; a preamble format information acquisition step of acquiring a preamble format information which is included in SIB2 of the system information; a distance calculation step of calculating a distance r with the base station based on the preamble format information; and a signal amplification determination step of determining whether to amplify a signal of the base station based on the preamble format and the distance r. 해상에서의 이동통신 서비스 제공을 위한 기지국 신호 중계 방법 및 장치가 제공된다. 본 발명의 일 실시례에 따른 신호 중계 방법은 기지국으로부터 시스템 정보(System Information)를 수신하는 시스템 정보 획득 단계, 상기 시스템 정보의 SIB2에 포함되어 있는 프리앰블 포맷 정보를 획득하는 프리앰블 포맷 정보 획득 단계, 상기 프리앰블 포맷 정보를 기반으로 상기 기지국과의 거리 r을 산정하는 거리 산정 단계 및 상기 프리앰블 포맷과 상기 r을 기반으로 상기 기지국의 신호 증폭 여부 결정하는 신호 증폭 여부 결정 단계를 포함한다.
