INTERFACE APPARATUS AND METHOD OF DISPLAY DEVICE

The present invention relates to an interface apparatus and method of a display device capable of stably receiving transmission data by generating a sampling clock with a simply structure in consideration of the transmission delay of data. The interface device includes a data driver which converts a signal sensed from a display panel into a digital signal and transmits sensing data; and a timing controller which receives the transmitted sensing data, allows the clock parameter of predetermined N bit (N is a positive integer) in consideration of the transmission delay of the sensing data to be repeatedly in series, and uses it as a sampling clock when sampling the sensing data. 본 발명은 데이터의 전송 딜레이를 고려한 샘플링 클럭을 단순한 구조로 생성하여 안정적으로 전송 데이터를 수신할 수 있는 표시 장치의 인터페이스 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 인터페이스 장치는 표시 패널로부터 센싱된 신호를 디지털로 변환하여 센싱 데이터를 전송하는 데이터 드라이버와; 상기 전송된 센싱 데이터를 수신하고, 상기 센싱 데이터의 전송 딜레이를 고려하여 미리 세팅된 N비트(N은 양의 정수)의 클럭 파라미터를 반복적으로 직렬화하여 상기 센싱 데이터의 샘플링시 샘플링 클럭으로 이용하는 타이밍 컨트롤러를 구비한다.
