Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an air conditioning system and a controlling method thereof. An air conditioning system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an outdoor unit arranged outdoors and including a compressor and an outdoor heat exchanger; multiple indoor units arranged indoors and having an indoor heat exchanger; and a distribution unit distributing a coolant and sending the coolant to the multiple indoor units. The outdoor unit includes an outdoor branch unit branched into multiple coolant passages; a first outdoor pipe branched from the outdoor branch unit and guiding the coolant to a first heat exchange unit of the outdoor heat exchanger; a second outdoor pipe branched from the outdoor branch unit and guiding the coolant to a second heat exchange unit of the outdoor heat exchanger; and a bypass pipe branched from the outdoor branch unit and guiding the coolant to the compressor by bypassing the outdoor heat exchanger. 본 발명은 공기조화 시스템 및 그 제어방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 공기조화 시스템에는, 실외공간에 배치되며, 압축기 및 실외 열교환기가 구비되는 실외기; 실내공간에 배치되며, 실내 열교환기가 구비되는 다수의 실내기; 및 상기 다수의 실내기로 냉매를 분배하여 유입시키는 분배 유닛이 포함되며, 상기 실외기에는, 다수의 냉매 경로로 분지되는 실외 분지부; 상기 실외 분지부로부터 연장되며, 상기 실외 열교환기의 제 1 열교환부로 냉매를 가이드 하는 제 1 실외 배관; 상기 실외 분지부로부터 연장되며, 상기 실외 열교환기의 제 2 열교환부로 냉매를 가이드 하는 제 2 실외 배관; 및 상기 실외 분지부로부터 연장되며, 상기 실외 열교환기를 바이패스 하여, 냉매를 상기 압축기로 가이드 하는 바이패스 배관이 포함된다.
