Zusammenfassung:Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a can-type secondary battery, which increases the rate of injecting an electrolyte into a battery can, and shortens a manufacturing time of the secondary battery. The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a can-type secondary battery comprising a battery can and an electrode assembly received in the battery can, the method comprising the steps of: receiving the electrode assembly in the battery can; injecting the electrolyte into the battery can; and inserting a top insulator into an upper portion of the electrode assembly received in the battery can. 본 발명은 전지 캔에 전해액을 주입하는 속도를 증가시켜 이차 전지 제조 시간을 단축할 수 있도록 하는 캔 형 이차 전지 제조 방법을 개시한다. 본 발명에 따른 캔 형 이차 전지 제조 방법은, 전지 캔 및 전지 캔에 수납되는 전극 조립체를 포함하는 캔 형 이차 전지 제조 방법으로서, 상기 전지 캔에 상기 전극 조립체를 수납하는 단계; 상기 전지 캔에 전해액을 주입하는 단계; 및 상기 전지 캔에 수납된 상기 전극 조립체의 상부에 탑 인슐레이터를 삽입하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
