Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a vibration damper for a vehicle which includes: one or more cylinder pipes (1) having a longitudinal extension axis (A); and a suspension spring (2). The suspension spring (2) includes a first end section (3) and a second end section (4). The suspension spring surrounds the cylinder pipe (1) in the circumferential direction and is indirectly supported by a support device of a vehicle in the axial direction by the first end section (3) with respect to the longitudinal extension axis (A) of the cylinder pipe (1). The suspension spring (2) is supported by the cylinder pipe (1) of the vibration damper in the axial direction by the second end section (4). The cylinder pipe (1) includes a spring retainer (5) integrated with the cylinder pipe (1) and molded from the cylinder pipe (1). The spring retainer includes a support surface (6) with respect to an end coil (7) of the suspension spring (2).
