The present invention relates to a wheelchair with a safety shelf and, more specifically, to a wheelchair with a safety shelf to facilitate the use of a safety shelf installed on the frame of a wheelchair by positioning the safety shelf on the armrest of the wheelchair when not in use and enabling users to rotate and position the safety shelf in the front side to use the safety shelf; to improve safety by preventing users from escaping from the wheelchair to the front side as the safety shelf is arranged in the front side of the them; to maximize space utilization by making the safety shelf have a telescopic structure; and to improve safety, usability, and user convenience as the safety shelf can be widely spread when it is in use.
