MUFFLER OF AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM FOR AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLES

The present invention relates to a muffler of an air conditioning system for vehicles to prevent a compressor lubricating oil from stagnating without affecting the properties of flow for a refrigerant, and to effectively reduce the vibration and noise of a compressor. To achieve this, the muffler of an air conditioning system for vehicles to be installed in a refrigerant tube to reduce the noise and vibration of the compressor, transmitted to the indoor space of a vehicle through the refrigerant tube comprises: a muffler main body tube installed in the refrigerant tube to allow a refrigerant gas flowing through the refrigerant tube to pass through which has one or more resonant holes through the outer circumference; and an outer resonant tube installed in the outer circumference of the muffler main body tube with a space to the muffler main body tube to form a resonant chamber in the space to absorb the vibration and noise of the refrigerant gas inside the muffler main body tube flowing out from the resonant hole. The muffler main body tube is inclined at a certain angle to the ground to allow the compressor lubricating oil flowed in the resonant chamber to flow in the direction of gravity to be discharged into the muffler main body tube through the resonant hole.
