Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed are a vehicle brake warning device and a method thereof. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the vehicle brake warning device and the method thereof capable of warning using a vehicle audio video navigation (AVN) system to prevent a rupture of a vehicle brake due to being operated for a long time when a vehicle drives on a downhill road. The vehicle brake warning device of the present invention is characterized by including: a brake sensor sensing the operation of the brake; a driving-speed sensor sensing a driving speed; a gyro sensor sensing a tilted angle of the vehicle; a control unit determining whether the vehicle drives on a downhill road or not using the driving-speed sensor and gyro sensor when the operation of the brake is sensed by the brake sensor, and determining whether providing a warning or not in accordance to the operation of the brakes; and a warning unit providing a warning in accordance to the determination of the control unit.
