A COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING CRITICAL EXTRACTS OF PEAR

The present invention provides a cosmetic composition, wherein a pear extract which is a fruit of Pyrus serotina and, specifically, a pear supercritical extract is included as an active ingredient. In particular, the present invention relates to a whitening cosmetic composition including a pear supercritical extract extracted through supercritical carbon dioxide (CO_2) having a pressure condition of 300 bar and a temperature condition of 50°C. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method for producing a pear supercritical extract having the most excellent whitening activity from a pear. The method may be a method for producing a pear supercritical extract having a whitening activity, wherein the method comprises the steps of producing a pear pulverized material by pulverizing a pear; and injecting supercritical carbon dioxide having a pressure condition of 300 bar and a temperature condition of 50°C in the pear pulverized material to be extracted. Compared with an existing pear solvent extract, the pear supercritical extract produced by the method of the present invention has remarkably improved whitening activity and, particularly, melanin production controlling activity and tyrosinase inhibiting activity; thus, the cosmetic composition of the present invention is expected to have a significant effect industrially.
