TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF BATTERY PACK AND METHOD THEREOF

Disclosed are a system and a method for managing a temperature of a battery pack. The system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a sensing unit to measure, in real time, a voltage and a current of a battery pack having multiple batteries connected to each other; a calculating unit to calculate first internal resistance of the battery pack based on the voltage and the current which are measured by the sensing unit; a storing unit to store predetermined second internal resistance depending on changes in a temperature and a state of charge (SOC); a comparing unit to compare sizes of the first internal resistance calculated by the calculating unit and the second internal resistance stored in the storing unit; and a control unit to control a temperature of the battery pack based on comparing results of the comparing unit.
