Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to apparatus for removing a chestnut shell capable of improving work efficiency and processibility of chestnuts by forming a number of fine cracks on the shell of a chestnut soaked in water and drying so as to naturally remove the chestnut shell without damage and facilitate the removal of the chestnut shell. The apparatus comprises: a frame composed of support legs and base plates installed in the upper part of the support legs; an upper plate which forms an inlet for supplying chestnuts and a display for checking the status of the work in the upper part of supporters standing on the edge of each base plate and fixed; and a fine crack forming means installed to form a number of fine cracks on the chestnut shell supplied between the base plate and upper plate. The fine crack forming means comprises a cracking device forming fine cracks on the surface of the chestnut and a feeder pushing the chestnut to let the chestnut touch the cracking device.
