CIGARETTE FILTER FOR ANTI-TUSSIVE ACTIVITY OR DISCHARGE OF PHLEGM ACTIVITY COMPRISING EXTRACTS OF DENDROPANAX MORBIFERA

The present invention provides a manufacturing method of a cigarette filter having antitussive or apophlegmatic activities, comprising a nonpolar solvent-soluble extract of Dendropanax morbifera leaves as an active ingredient, wherein the nonpolar solvent-soluble extract of Dendropanax morbifera leaves is obtained by dissolving Dendropanax morbifera leaves in one solvent among water, methanol, ethanol, propanol, isopropanol, buthanol or a mixed solvent thereof to obtain a crude extract of Dendropanax morbifera leaves; and fractionating the crude extract of Dendropanax morbifera leaves by using one solvent among hexane, chloroform, dichloromethane and ethyl acetate as a nonpolar solvent. An antitussive or apophlegmatic pharmaceutical composition of the present invention is free from toxicity and side effects by using a natural ingredient and has an excellent antitussive or apophlegmatic effect. Therefore, the antitussive or apophlegmatic pharmaceutical composition is useful for manufacturing a cigarette filter containing the same as an active ingredient and has no side effect even when taken for a long period of time, thereby being able to be used safely.
