Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a method for predicting the depth of a hook which can improve the quality of a product by reducing generation of a pin hole, and a method for manufacturing a slab using the same. According to the present invention, the method for manufacturing a slab using the same comprises the steps of: measuring the contents of phosphorus, sulfur, and titanium of molten steel injected into a mold in continuous casting; measuring the width of the mold; predicting the depth of a hook by considering a weight ratio of the measured sulfur, a weight ratio of the measured titanium, the measured width of the mold, a preset degree of superheat, and a preset casting speed; and controlling the depth of the hook by changing the degree of superheat or the casting rate when the predicted depth of the hook exceeds the depth of a preset hook. |
