SMART ROAD MONITORING SYSTEM USING SENSOR AND CAMERA

Disclosed is a smart road monitoring system using a sensor and a camera. The smart road monitoring system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprise; a speed sensing unit which is fixated on a pillar installed on the roadside and senses the speed of a vehicle passing every lanes of the road; a panorama camera which is installed on the pillar and takes a picture of the flow of vehicles passing every lanes of the road; and control unit which divides an image recorded by the panorama camera according to the lane of the road and transmits an image of an overspeeding vehicle which exceeds a regulation speed according to the lane as a sensing result of the speed sensing unit to a wireless network.
