Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a sealing plug (10) adapted to seal a part (14), especially, an opening (12) of a vehicle part, and the sealing plug (10) includes a generally circular or cylindrical shank (16) closed by a sealing surface (18) and a conical sealing lip (20) disposed on the shank (16). The sealing lip is locked to its position on the underside surface of the part (14) and to close the opening (12). The free edge (44) of the first sealing lip (20) is brought into contact with the underside surface (21) of the part (14) in an assembled state thereof. The sealing lip (20) of the sealing plug has at least one flexible folding section (24), and the folding section (24) is reversely folded in such a manner as to allow the circumference of the sealing lip (20) to be reduced in the regions of the folding section (24) and/or edge (45) of the sealing lip (20).
