Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to an apparatus for monitoring a transformer using an ultrasonic wave, comprising: an acoustic emission (AE) sensor which detects a failure in the transformer; a signal processing and analog to digital (A/D) converting unit which processes a signal or information detected at the AE sensor and converts the processed result into a digital signal or information; a communicating and controlling unit which analyzes and detects failure diagnosis information related to the transformer from the digital signal or information, and converts the analyzed and detected result into a digital format adequate for transmission; a power source and data interface unit which transmits the failure diagnosis information related to the transformer to an external power over Ethernet (PoE) switch according to PoE specifications, and separates the data transmitted through the PoE switch from a power source; and an internal source supply unit which provides the data to the communicating and controlling unit and applies the power source as a driving power to the AE sensor, the signal processing and A/D converting unit, and the communicating and controlling unit. |
