Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed is a slab crack diagnosis method including a step for measuring temperature of a center of a slab short side portion by using a center temperature sensor that is disposed at a center of a short side portion of a mold; a step for measuring temperature of an edge of the slab short side portion by using an edge temperature sensor that is disposed at an edge of the mold short side portion; a step for calculating a crack index by using a temperature difference between the center of the slab short side portion and the edge of the slab short side portion; and a step for determining whether a crack occurs in a longitudinal direction of the slab short side portion by comparing the calculated crack index to a reference value.
