An adjacent object detection apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a substrate; a plurality of first electrodes which are arranged on a surface of the substrate and extend in a first direction; a plurality of second electrodes which are formed on the surface of the substrate to be alternately arranged with the first electrodes in parallel and form a capacitor; a signal source generating an electrical signal; a detection unit which detects a current signal output by applying the electrical signal to the capacitor; and a control unit the signal source to be connected to the first electrodes and the detection unit to be connected to the second electrodes.
