Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed is a canister-type thruster. A canister-type thruster according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a canister lifted inside a trunk of a floating structure or a vessel; a lifting device including a rack gear installed on the surface of the canister in a lifting direction, a pinion gear installed on the trunk and engaged with the rack gear, and a driving source driving the same and lifting the canister; and a guide device installed on the inner surface of the trunk and guiding the rack gear. The rack gear includes an inclined guide surface formed on the end of the rack gear to be tilted toward the lifting direction and guiding the rack gear to the guide device.
