Zusammenfassung:	An apparatus and a method for controlling a mobile storage medium to prevent data leakage are disclosed. The apparatus for controlling a mobile storage medium to prevent data leakage includes: a storage medium checking unit which determines whether a connected storage medium is a mobile storage medium; a storage medium policy acquisition unit which acquires a hierarchical storage medium policy of a hierarchical structure for the storage medium when the storage medium is the mobile storage medium; and a storage medium control unit which controls the storage medium by changing a storage medium connection state and a storage medium use state using the acquired hierarchical storage medium policy.
