Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a mobile terminal having a time alarm function and a control method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a mobile terminal includes: a display unit which outputs an object for image alarm settings; and a control unit which displays a selection window specifying an image region to capture to be overlapped with an image outputted on the display unit when the object is selected, captures the image region included in the selection window in the image outputted on the display unit according to a touch input, and outputs the captured image region at an inputted image alarm time.
